Angels in the Night Bring Warmth and Community Caring to Homeless Shelters in 10th Anniversary Year

On Tuesday, December 11, hundreds of volunteers from Invis-Mortgage Intelligence, Canada's leading mortgage brokerage firm, will take to city streets across Canada to donate new winter clothing and supplies to those in need as part of its trademark community program, Angels in the Night.

This annual event is the culmination of 12 months of community fundraising efforts by Invis-Mortgage Intelligence volunteers in support of homeless shelters in the community. Volunteers work directly with homeless shelters in their communities to find out what they need most, purchase new items and distribute them on a single night. Since inception 10 years ago, Angels in the Night volunteers have raised over $1.8 million.

The top five items requested by the shelters this year are: hats, gloves, basic toiletries, personal items such as underwear and socks, and bedding.

What: Angels in the Night volunteers will give newly purchased supplies to over 30 registered charitable community shelters across Canada.

Where: Halifax, Toronto, Winnipeg, Calgary, Edmonton, Kitchener-Waterloo, Kelowna, Vernon, Cranbrook, and Vancouver
